Marsha Ferrell

Marsha is an accomplished instructor with an extensive background in special education, nursing and business.  She’s had an interest in firearms for many years. At a young age, she was accidently shot when she and some childhood friends found a gun on their way to school, thinking it was a toy and fired it.  She credits her dad for pushing her to keep working with firearms and to become more knowledgeable on proper use and safety.

Marsha has trained with Buckeye Firearms Associations “FASTER” program (Faculty/Administrator Safety Training Safety Training and Emergency Response) Level 1 and 2. Marsha attended her FASTER training at the Tactical Defense Institute and then went on to the Chris Cerino Training Group to assist in training other teachers. She is a certified instructor through the NRA for Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Chief Range Safety Officer, Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home and Refuse To Be A Victim®.  She is also an instructor for  Mace pepper spray/personal defense.  Most recently Marsha has added to her certifications instructor and counselor for United States Concealed Carry Association - USCCA.

Marsha stays active in her community.  She currently serves on the Westshore Community Emergency Response Team (CERT.)
